Around the Americas you will find that the same personal garment will have different names. Some easily understood others ...? Ajustadores vs, brassieres, calcetines vs. medias, cinto vs. correas, terno vs. traje, etc. As long as you are comfortable, that is all that matters.
Or is it? My brother Carlos in his latest emilio mentions ...

"La venta por $100 dolares del terno blanco, lo use una sola vez .."
I sold him that suit. Is there a sense of regret?, remorse?, nostalgia?, gratitude? Lets get the facts ...
I arrived in Hong Kong early December of 68 on R & R from Vietnam with plenty of information concerning lodging, female companionship and where to buy what. The tailor shop at the Imperial hotel in Kowloon was run by a Pakistani man. He was very good. First a drink .. any drink. Then, shirts? Endless variety of ready-made, half way or from scratch. Same with ties, vests, pants and suits. All deliver to your room by 9:00 am the following day. It was 6:30 Pm. Best of the best. So, the first fact: The suit had pedigree.
As overwhelming as the background fact is, I will add its "limited" availability. Everything limited is generally exclusive, just for some people. Now about your ROI ... well...
I know what you are saying:
"Pakistani my ass, he was a Hindu running a child labor sweat shop, and that suit looked like a chocolatero de D'onofrio. Furthermore , If you bought it in 68 and I used it that one time to your wedding in 80, You sold me a 12 year old suit !!??"

On a previous post on Cuban music there is a link to of El Camison de Pepa, de Compay Segundo, about how it made her look better .... "En la Havana gano el premio mayor ... ", I believe you just did not wear it often enough. Sort of getting use to it ... Like marriage. Sure !!
PS.: I actually bought your suit in 79 at an Italian shop in the Gables, and not from .... Toni Bolas . You see, you are already feeling better.
